Accordingly, the bipedal robot has a legally imported mechanical part from the Precision Mechanical Engineering Research Joint Stock Company (RPMEC) under the Hanoi University of Science and Technology for the purpose of development, training, research and transfer.
On that basis, the research team led by lecturers from Hanoi University of Science and Technology has developed new control algorithms, giving robots new features such as: Improving stability when moving on complex terrain; Increasing the ability to adapt to changing heights; Developing algorithms to help robots climb curved stairs.
Also according to Hanoi University of Science and Technology, in training, the research team has built software and professional documents, helping lecturers and students directly program, integrate artificial intelligence and motion control. Information about bipedal robots was introduced at the exhibition area.
Regarding the labeling of the Hanoi University of Science and Technology logo, Hanoi University of Science and Technology said that the robot is displayed in the area introducing the learning, practice and research development conditions of lecturers and students. This area has the participation of many different agencies and training units.
In long-term exhibition conditions, with too many visitors, many units mark artifacts for management and preservation.
The exhibition department of Hanoi University of Science and Technology uses paper stamps with the school's logo to stick on all exhibits, including the bipedal robot, for management and preservation. At that time, there was an error in sticking the paper stamp on the bipedal robot at the position of the product's logo.
Hanoi University of Science and Technology stated: "Although there was a leaflet introducing the robot's features at the exhibition area, the use of Hanoi University of Science and Technology logo paper stamps to mark for preservation has caused some visitors to misunderstand, which is regrettable. The school seriously accepts and draws profound lessons for similar events."
The leaders of Hanoi University of Science and Technology have severely criticized the relevant departments for the above mentioned negligence. Hanoi University of Science and Technology has also reported to the competent authorities.
