Sir, after the impact of the storm and flood, what specific activities will the Vietnam Education Publishing House implement to support students and teachers in affected areas to restore teaching and learning?

After the storms and floods, supporting schools and educational institutions to restore teaching and learning activities is the top priority of the Vietnam Education Publishing House (NXBGDVN). We understand that for the education sector, in addition to rebuilding facilities, quickly stabilizing learning for students is extremely important. Books and school supplies are not only tools for students to continue going to school but also a great source of spiritual encouragement, helping them to be more confident on the path of seeking knowledge.

With that spirit, NXBGDVN has been implementing many practical activities to provide timely support to students and teachers in areas affected by natural disasters and floods. To directly support students and schools in flood-affected areas, NXBGDVN has implemented many book donation programs.

Specifically, after storm No. 3 caused heavy damage in Dien Bien , we donated more than 1,200 sets of textbooks with a total value of 221 million VND. In Nghe An, on the opening day of the school year, we directly donated books to 23 primary and secondary schools affected by floods, with a total value of 300 million VND. Similarly, in Son La, we coordinated with the Department of Education and Training of the province to donate nearly 19,000 textbooks worth 276 million VND. These activities not only provide books but also demonstrate the companionship and sharing of the Vietnam Education Publishing House with the education sector.

In addition to donating books, NXBGDVN also mobilized resources from its staff and employees throughout the system to support affected areas. After storm No. 10, we launched the movement "Join hands to support 1 day's salary to areas affected by natural disasters and floods". This movement raised nearly 700 million VND, which will be used to support families that suffered heavy losses in human lives and property.

Currently, we are still urgently reviewing and collecting information on damage in localities to plan further support, with the goal of providing maximum support for students to have enough books to continue studying.

NXBGDVN will make every effort to contribute with the whole country to support localities to overcome difficulties after natural disasters and floods.

Through relief activities, what message does NXBGDVN hope to spread to students, parents and teachers across the country, sir?

Through the relief activities, NXBGDVN wishes to spread the message of social responsibility and the spirit of accompanying the education sector on the path of cultivating knowledge. The books and other material forms that we give are not only material, but also sharing, love and spiritual encouragement for students, parents and teachers in areas affected by storms and floods.

We believe that, with the efforts of the whole society, students and teachers in areas affected by storms and floods will soon stabilize their studies, be more steadfast on the path to conquering knowledge and building a bright future.

Thank you very much!
