The 1st Congress of the Central Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Organizations begins its preparatory session.

(Chinhphu.vn) - On September 22, in Hanoi, the 1st Congress of the Central Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central Mass Organizations, term 2025-2030, held a preparatory session.

The congress was attended by 346 delegates, representing more than 5,000 party members in the entire Party Committee.

At the working session, comrade Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front (VFF), Central organizations, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, presided over the election of the Presidium; Secretariat; and the Qualification Examination Board of delegates attending the congress.

Delegates attending the congress elected 14 comrades to the Presidium; elected 3 comrades to the Secretariat; and elected 9 comrades to the Delegate Qualification Examination Board.

Delegates also voted to approve the congress agenda, rules and regulations of the congress.

At the same time, the Congress also heard a report summarizing comments on draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party...

The Congress divided into 5 discussion groups to listen to comments on the documents submitted to the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Organizations, term 2025 - 2030 and the draft documents submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party.

The first Congress of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Mass Organizations for the 2025-2030 term, taking place on September 22-23 at the Vietnam Youth Academy, is the first congress organized by the 6 Party Committees directly under the Central Committee.

The draft political report of the congress has the theme: "Building a clean and strong Party organization; strongly innovating thinking and leadership methods; gathering and mobilizing people of all walks of life to promote democracy and the strength of great national unity, joining hands and hearts to enter an era of national development that is rich, prosperous, civilized and happy."

The motto of the congress is: Solidarity - Democracy - Creativity - Innovation - Development.
