On September 25, Hong Son commune, Lam Dong province held the 1st Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front Delegates, term 2025 - 2030.

Hong Son commune was established on the basis of merging two communes: Hong Liem and Hong Son. After the merger, with the solidarity and efforts, the activities of the commune Fatherland Front and its member organizations quickly stabilized, keeping up with the requirements of the tasks; actively innovated and created, initially attracting the active participation of cadres, party members and people.

Comrade Nguyen Linh Nhon, Secretary of the Party Committee of Hong Son commune, gave a speech directing the Congress.

During the past term, the Fatherland Front of Hong Son commune has proactively innovated the work of meeting voters in the direction of being close to the people. Thanks to that, through meetings with voters and National Assembly and People's Council deputies, there were 290 opinions, 43 opinions were received.

Organized 23 supervisions related to the concreting of inter-village roads; participated in 28 mediation sessions at the grassroots level, contributing to promptly resolving conflicts arising in residential areas, strengthening solidarity in the community, contributing to maintaining security and order in the locality...

The Executive Committee of the Party Committee of Hong Son commune presented the Congress with flowers and a banner with the words Solidarity - Democracy - Consensus - Creativity - Development.

In addition, the Fatherland Front of Hong Son commune also effectively carried out many meaningful patriotic emulation movements and campaigns.

Currently, the whole commune is maintaining and expanding 14 models including physical education and sports; happy family; preventing and combating domestic violence; educating violators of the 3 reduction targets; caring for and protecting children; and protecting the environment.

Cultural performance to welcome the Congress

During the term, the Commune Front carried out the Campaign for the Poor Day well, mobilizing more than 44.5 million VND, exceeding the set target. Coordinated to mobilize support and build a house for orphans, worth 160 million VND; presented gifts to poor households, near-poor households, families with difficult policies, and social protection beneficiaries with 2,054 gifts, worth over 1 billion VND; awarded 159 scholarships and 11 bicycles to poor students who have overcome difficulties/223 million VND.

The Congress discussed and approved the summary report of the work of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hong Son commune; directions, tasks, action programs, and targets of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hong Son commune, term I, 2025-2030.

For the 2025 - 2030 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hong Son commune has set out 6 action programs and 9 specific targets. With the goal of continuing to consolidate and promote the strength of solidarity, democracy, enhance consensus, strong innovation, contributing to building Hong Son to develop rapidly, comprehensively and sustainably.

Speaking at the Congress, comrade Truong Minh Quang, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union acknowledged and commended the outstanding results that the Hong Son Commune Fatherland Front achieved in the past term.

At the same time, he suggested that the Hong Son Front closely follow the Resolution of the Commune Party Congress, the direction of the Central and the province, and continue to clearly identify key tasks and main targets.

In particular, there are a number of issues that need attention such as: Focusing on building solidarity, unifying will and action throughout the organization and agency; leading and directing civil servants and employees to overcome difficulties to carry out tasks smoothly, synchronously and effectively....

Along with that, regularly monitor and grasp the situation of the people and public opinion; listen to voters' opinions and recommendations, promptly collect, reflect and propose to the Party Committee, government and relevant agencies for consideration and resolution. Continue to promote and improve the quality of patriotic emulation movements and campaigns.

In addition, he said that the Vietnam Fatherland Front needs to urgently complete its operating regulations, assign tasks, assign the right people to the right jobs, and ensure clear responsibilities. At the same time, it is necessary to promote the application of information technology, establish an information technology - digital transformation team, and turn digital platforms such as Fanpage, Zalo, and "Digital Front" into effective information channels connecting the Front with the people, helping to promptly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of the people.

The Congress conducted consultations to elect 45 men and women as members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hong Son commune, term I, 2025 - 2030; 1 official delegate to attend the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Lam Dong province, term 2025 - 2030; and consulted to elect Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Liem, member of the Standing Committee of the Commune Party Committee, to hold the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hong Son commune, term I, 2025 - 2030.
