The 1st Congress of the Central Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Mass Organizations took place on September 22-23.

The draft Political Report of the Congress is expected to have the theme: "Building a clean and strong Party organization; strongly innovating thinking and leadership methods; gathering and mobilizing people of all walks of life to promote democracy and the strength of great national unity, joining hands and joining hands to enter an era of national development towards prosperity, civilization, and happiness". The expected motto of action is: "Solidarity - Democracy - Creativity - Innovation - Development".

Providing information on the preparation and organization of the Congress at a press conference on the morning of September 18, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Organizations Nguyen Minh Chung said: The Party Committee has 25 affiliated Party organizations with over 5,000 Party members. The Executive Committee consists of 31 comrades, the Standing Committee consists of 13 comrades, and the Standing Party Committee consists of 5 comrades (Secretary, Standing Deputy Secretary and 3 full-time Deputy Secretaries).

The Congress was attended by 350 delegates, representing more than 5,100 party members of the entire Party Committee; of which, the natural delegates were 31 comrades in the Executive Committee, the elected delegates attending the Congress were 18 comrades from 5 party organizations; the appointed delegates were 301 delegates from 20 affiliated party organizations. The delegates attending were ensured to follow the correct structure, including: delegates representing affiliated party committees; leaders of departments, units of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; leaders of the Party Committee's staff; delegates who were ethnic minorities, young delegates, delegates who were typical party members in the party committees...

Personnel work is carried out in accordance with the direction of Directive 45-CT/TW of the Politburo . The Congress will approve the number of Executive Committee members, and specific personnel will be appointed after the 14th National Party Congress. After the Congress, the Party Committee's leadership will continue to direct activities within the Party Committee until the Central Executive Committee appoints new Executive Committee members.

Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Mass Organizations Nguyen Thai Hoc affirmed: The 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Mass Organizations for the 2025-2030 term takes place in a new context and new situation of the Party and the country; therefore, the Congress clearly demonstrates the role of connecting the spirit of great national solidarity under the common roof of the Front.

According to Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc, starting from the functions and tasks of the Party Committee from an organization as the Party Delegation, now the Party Committee, comprehensively leading all fields, from there, new requirements are set for the Party Committee in the term 2025-2030. This is a Congress of solidarity, effort, demonstrating the highest determination to promote the intelligence of all Party members in the Party Committee, meeting the requirements. With that meaning, the Congress must propose solutions to innovate the mechanism and method of operation; enhance the substance, depth, efficiency, overcome the movement and formality; mobilize, arouse the spirit of solidarity, gather, arouse the people's strength and resources in accordance with the spirit of General Secretary To Lam's request.

The Congress's political report identified 5 directions, 10 groups of targets, 8 key tasks, 15 groups of solutions, and 3 breakthroughs to be focused on during the term.

Emphasizing that the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Organizations for the 2025-2030 term is an important political event, Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc requested that press and media agencies focus on promoting and highlighting the Party Committee's directions, goals, targets, key tasks and strategic breakthroughs for the 2025-2030 term; spreading the spirit of solidarity and consensus throughout the Party Committee and member organizations, demonstrating confidence and high political determination towards the success of the Congress.

* On the same day, the Award Ceremony of the Logo Design Contest of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Mass Organizations and the Logo of the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Mass Organizations, term 2025-2030 was held. This is a practical activity with profound political and cultural significance, welcoming the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Mass Organizations.

The contest was launched by the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central organizations in coordination with the Party Committee of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations . In just one month, from July 18 to August 18, 2025, the Organizing Committee received 112 works from 41 authors, of which 6 works entered the final round. As a result, the Steering Committee and the Standing Committee of the Party Committee approved and selected 1 work to win the First Prize and 5 works to be Encouraged. The entries, especially the winning works, demonstrate the affection, responsibility, intelligence and creativity of artists towards the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central organizations.

Affirming that this is a valuable spiritual gift, contributing to the impression of the Congress, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Organizations Nguyen Thai Hoc stated: The Logo Design Contest is not only an artistic activity, but also a vivid demonstration of the connection between Party building work, the work of the Fatherland Front, organizations with the team of intellectuals, artists and the social community. This is also a creative way to spread positive values, arouse confidence and aspiration to build a prosperous and happy country.
