Dak Lak Provincial Party Congress: Building a province that develops quickly and sustainably

After 3 days of urgent, serious and responsible work, on the morning of October 1, the 1st Congress of Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, closed.

At the closing session, delegates listened to the report summarizing comments and suggestions, and receiving and explaining the Presidium of the congress on the documents of the 1st Provincial Party Congress and draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party.

In his closing speech at the congress, Dak Lak Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dinh Trung called on all cadres, party members and people in the province to continue promoting the spirit of solidarity, unity, proactiveness, creativity, seizing opportunities, overcoming difficulties, overcoming challenges, promoting the patriotic emulation movement, determined to strive to successfully complete the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

The Dak Lak Provincial Party Secretary proposed that after the congress, the Provincial Party Executive Committee should urgently complete and issue an action program to implement the congress resolution.

Party committees at all levels need to promptly do a good job of disseminating and propagating widely throughout the Party about the results of the congress, organize research, thoroughly grasp the resolution and documents of the congress, promptly develop and implement programs and action plans, soon put the resolution of the congress into life, join hands to build Dak Lak province to develop rapidly, sustainably, civilized and with identity, contributing worthily to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation in the new era, the era of national growth.

At the congress, 100% of delegates passed the Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

The Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee strives for an average growth rate of gross regional domestic product (GRDP) in the 2026-2030 period of 10.5% or more per year; GRDP per capita (at current prices) by 2030 to reach 153 million VND/person or more; total social investment capital in the 5 years of 2026-2030 to reach over 600,000 billion VND, accounting for about 35% of GRDP at current prices; total export value in the 5 years of 2026-2030 to reach over 13 billion USD, an average increase of 5-6% per year.

From 2026-2030, Dak Lak strives to increase state budget revenue in the area (excluding land use fees) by 11% per year or more; total retail sales of goods and service revenue to reach 1.2 million billion VND, an average increase of about 10% per year; total tourists to the province to reach 43 million, an average increase of 11% per year; total tourism revenue to reach nearly 100 trillion VND.

The province strives to reduce poor households by 2%/year or more; of which poor households among ethnic minorities are 3%/year or more; by 2030, there will be no more poor households according to the multidimensional poverty standard for the period 2022-2025; 70% of schools will meet national standards by 2030; trained workers will reach over 75% by 2030; trained workers with degrees and certificates will reach about 30%; each year create more jobs for over 56,000 workers, of which about 2,000-2,500 people will be exported; reduce the unemployment rate in urban areas to 2% by 2030.

By 2030, the province strives to reduce the rate of malnourished children under 5 years old to 12.1%; the number of hospital beds (excluding commune health station beds) to 33 beds per 10,000 people; 10.2 doctors per 10,000 people; and health insurance coverage to 96.5%.

At the same time, Dak Lak will pay attention to forest planting and protection, ensuring that the forest coverage rate reaches 42% or more; 98% of the urban population is provided with clean water through a centralized water supply system; 98.7% of the rural population has access to hygienic water; 100% of operating industrial clusters have centralized wastewater treatment systems that meet environmental standards; 98% of urban solid waste is collected and treated according to regulations.

Dak Lak strives to admit 3-4% of new party members each year; maintain 100% of villages, hamlets, and residential groups with party cells; annually have over 90% of grassroots party organizations and party members evaluated and classified as having completed their tasks well or better./.
