Mr. Nguyen Van Mao - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of An Giang province awarded Mai Thi Nuong scholarships to poor, near-poor and students who overcame difficulties to study well at the art program commemorating the 65th anniversary of the death of People's Armed Forces Hero Mai Thi Nuong.
At the beginning of the program, the organizing committee awarded 65 "Mai Thi Nuong" scholarships, each worth 1 million VND, to poor, near-poor and students who overcame difficulties to study well in the commune.
At the same time, the OCOP Product Display Contest and typical local products were awarded to 10 booths in the communes of Giong Rieng, Hoa Thuan, Long Thanh, Thanh Hung, Ngoc Chuc and Hoa Hung. The results included 1 first prize, 1 second prize, 2 third prizes, 1 consolation prize and 1 thematic prize.
