The 1st Ninh Binh Provincial Party Congress voted to unify the list of the Presidium.

VTV.vn - On the morning of September 30, the 1st Congress of Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, held a preparatory session, agreeing on the list of the Presidium and Secretary of the Congress.

Attending the preparatory session of the Congress were 500 delegates, representing nearly 240,000 party members of 133 affiliated party organizations, including: 4 provincial party committees and 129 commune and ward party committees.

Before entering the preparatory session, delegates took a minute to remember the victims who died due to natural disasters and storm No. 10.

At the preparatory session, 100% of delegates unanimously elected the Presidium of 15 comrades, the Secretariat of 3 comrades, the Delegate Qualification Examination Board of 7 comrades; approved the Working Program, Internal Rules and Working Regulations of the Congress.

On behalf of the Congress Presidium, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Song Tung presented a report summarizing comments from Party Committees under the Provincial Party Committee on the draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress. Accordingly, the whole Ninh Binh province recorded more than 50,990 comments, most of which agreed with the drafts. The comments focused on the economic development goals for the 2026-2030 period, emphasizing the need to specify growth indicators, supplement quantitative data in evaluating the results of the 13th term, especially in the fields of economy, labor, environment and social security. Many delegates proposed clarifying the orientation of transforming the growth model towards sustainability, modernity, exploiting the strengths of manufacturing industry, tourism services, green urban economy associated with heritage; at the same time, adding indicators on high-tech industry, digital economy, circular economy and green economy.

In addition, some opinions proposed adding new criteria such as: happiness index, free basic medical examination and treatment policy for people; increasing investment in science , technology, innovation and digital transformation, considering this as the driving force for growth in the new period.

Delegates attending the Congress also discussed important contents such as: Solutions to effectively implement Directive No. 05, dated May 15, 2016 of the 12th Politburo on promoting studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle; Improving the capacity to advise and organize the implementation of bringing science, technology, innovation and digital transformation as the driving force in the socio-economic development of the province to implement the goals and tasks of the 14th National Congress of the Party and the 1st Congress of Ninh Binh province for the 2025-2030 term.

Solutions to promote industrial development, focusing on high-tech, modern, green industries with many key products that are highly competitive, deeply participating in the global product supply chain; Developing tourism and cultural industry to become a key economic cluster, solutions to build Ninh Binh tourism brand in the context of integration; Conservation, restoration and promotion of heritage values.

With the motto "Solidarity - Responsibility - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development", the 1st Ninh Binh Provincial Party Congress is an important political event of the entire Party, people and army in the province, opening a milestone for a new development stage of the province.

The Congress has the task of reviewing the implementation of the goals and tasks of the 2020-2025 term, comprehensively assessing the results achieved, shortcomings, limitations, causes and lessons learned. At the same time, determining the direction, goals, tasks and solutions to build and develop Ninh Binh province in the 2025-2030 term, contributing to the whole country entering a new era - the era of national development, building a rich, prosperous, civilized, happy country, firmly moving towards socialism.

Earlier, early this morning, delegates attending the congress offered incense to pay tribute to their ancestors and heroic martyrs at the Hoa Lu Ancient Capital National Special Relic Site, the Temple of Heroic Martyrs and the Monument to Heroic Martyrs of Ninh Binh province.

Tomorrow (October 1), the opening session of the 1st Ninh Binh Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030 will take place at the Ninh Binh Provincial Convention Center.
