The 1st Congress of Nam Dong Commune Farmers' Association, term 2025 - 2030

On the afternoon of September 30, the Farmers' Association of Nam Dong commune, Lam Dong province held the 1st Congress of the Farmers' Association of the commune, term 2025 - 2030, with the participation of 120 delegates representing more than 3,000 officials and farmer members in the whole commune.

Overview of the Congress of Delegates of the Farmers' Association of Nam Dong Commune for the 2025 - 2030 term

During the past term, the Nam Dong Commune Farmers' Association has closely followed the orientation of the superior Association and the local political , economic and social tasks; actively innovated the content and methods of operation, and built an increasingly strong Association. The whole commune has admitted 233 more members, bringing the total to 3,057 members; mobilized over 1,500 members to register for the title of good farmers and businessmen at all levels.

The Executive Committee of Lam Dong Provincial Farmers' Association presented flowers to congratulate the Congress.

The Commune Farmers' Association has established 11 professional associations operating effectively in the fields of coffee, longan, durian cultivation, cattle and goat breeding, etc.; regularly updating knowledge and applying science and technology to production. Responding to the new rural construction movement, cadres and members have contributed over 800 million VND, donated 2,000m² of land, renovated and repaired 16km of rural roads; at the same time, developed OCOP and VietGAP products, built model gardens, model fields, and model residential areas.

In addition, the Association also coordinated to open 5 vocational training classes for 175 members; built a Farmers Support Fund of nearly 1.9 billion VND with 6 projects, supported 43 households to borrow; coordinated with the Social Policy Bank to disburse more than 42.6 billion VND to 709 households to borrow for production development. Activities to disseminate laws, provide legal aid, and train on technical advances are organized regularly, attracting a large number of members to participate.

Comrade Nguyen Duc Han, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial Farmers' Association, commended, acknowledged and congratulated the achievements that the Commune Farmers' Association has achieved in the past time.

Speaking at the Congress, comrade Nguyen Duc Han commended the results achieved by the Commune Farmers' Association in the period of 2023 - 2025; at the same time, he suggested that in the new term, the Association continue to innovate its operating methods, improve the quality of branch and group activities; support members in terms of capital and technology, promote collective economy, develop clean agriculture, associated with digital transformation and building smart new rural areas.

Launching the Executive Committee of the Farmers' Association of Nam Dong commune for the 2025 - 2030 term

The Congress announced the decision of the Provincial Farmers' Association on appointing the Executive Committee of the Nam Dong Commune Farmers' Association, Term I, consisting of 25 comrades, and the Standing Committee of 5 comrades. Mr. Nguyen Van Trong, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the Commune, was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Nam Dong Commune Farmers' Association for the term 2025 - 2030. The Congress also consulted to elect a delegation to attend the First Congress of the Lam Dong Provincial Farmers' Association.
