Gia Lai supports 6 billion VND to help provinces damaged by storms...

Faced with the severe damage caused by storm Bualoi in the northern and north central provinces, Gia Lai province has decided to provide 6 billion VND in support to share difficulties and help people in the flood-hit areas overcome the consequences of natural disasters and soon stabilize their lives.

According to Decision No. 1449/QD-UBND dated October 1, 2025 of the People's Committee of Gia Lai province, the total support amount is 6 billion VND, taken from the provincial budget reserve in 2025. This amount is specifically allocated as follows: Ha Tinh province receives the highest support level of 2 billion VND; the provinces/; Quang Tri, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa and Son La, each province is supported with 1 billion VND.

Storm Bualoi is a storm with strong winds, causing heavy rain over a wide area, especially in the northern and North Central provinces. Many localities were seriously affected, thousands of houses had their roofs blown off, damaged, many areas of crops and trees were flooded, a series of trees were broken, traffic was blocked and infrastructure was damaged. In particular, Ha Tinh was one of the localities that suffered the most damage due to the prolonged storm circulation, causing deep flooding over a large area, making people's lives extremely difficult.

Gia Lai province’s timely support for affected localities not only demonstrates the spirit of mutual love, but also concretizes the Party and State’s policy in implementing social security policies and supporting people in areas affected by natural disasters and floods. This is also a vivid demonstration of the spirit of solidarity and sharing among localities nationwide, contributing to promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc.

The Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Gia Lai province also expressed their belief that with the attention of the Party and State, along with the practical support from provinces and cities across the country and the spirit of solidarity and strong will to rise of cadres, soldiers and people, the provinces of Quang Tri, Ha Tinh, Nghe An , Thanh Hoa and Son La will soon overcome difficulties, quickly overcome the consequences of natural disasters, and bring life back to normal.
