The 1st Congress of the Central Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Organizations sets out 3 breakthroughs for the 2025-2030 term.

On September 18 in Hanoi, the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front (VFF) and central mass organizations held a press conference to inform about the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the VFF and central mass organizations for the 2025-2030 term. The Congress is scheduled to take place on September 22-23 in Hanoi, focusing on discussing directions, tasks and proposing 3 breakthroughs in the new term.

According to the Vietnam Fatherland Front's website, at the meeting, providing information on the preparation and organization of the Congress, Mr. Nguyen Minh Chung, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central organizations, said that the Congress is expected to take place on September 22 and 23 in Hanoi with 350 delegates attending, including: representatives of subordinate Party committees; leaders of departments and units of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; leaders of advisory boards to assist the Party Committee; delegates who are ethnic minorities, young delegates, and outstanding Party members...

Regarding personnel work, Mr. Nguyen Minh Chung affirmed that the preparations were carried out in accordance with the spirit of Directive 45-CT/TW dated April 14, 2025 of the Politburo on Party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party. The Congress will approve the number of Executive Committees, and specific personnel will be appointed after the 14th National Party Congress. After the Congress, the Party Committee's leadership will continue to direct activities within the Party Committee until the Central Executive Committee appoints new Executive Committee personnel.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Mass Organizations, stated: The 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Mass Organizations, term 2025-2030 takes place in a new context, a new situation of the Party and the country, clearly demonstrating the role of connecting the spirit of great national solidarity under the common roof of the Front. This is a Congress of solidarity, efforts, promoting the intelligence of all Party members, meeting the requirements of the new tasks of the Party Committee in the term 2025-2030.

With that meaning, the Congress must propose solutions to innovate mechanisms and methods of operation; increase substance, depth and efficiency, overcome movement and formality; mobilize and arouse the spirit of solidarity, gathering, and arousing the people's strength and resources in accordance with the spirit of General Secretary To Lam's request.

Accordingly, the Political Report identifies 5 directions, 10 groups of targets, 8 key tasks, along with 10 groups of solutions for leading political tasks and 5 groups of solutions on Party building work that need to be focused on implementing in the 2025-2030 term.

The Congress proposed three breakthroughs: Innovating leadership methods according to new models; new thinking, new ways of doing things, new results; Strongly innovating the content and methods of operation, focusing on the grassroots, residential areas, close to the people, proactively serving the people; Focusing on training, fostering, evaluating, arranging, and effectively using the staff, especially the heads of Party committees, agencies, and units; focusing on training cadres through practical activities; closely linking theory with practice, saying goes hand in hand with doing.

Before the Congress, many welcoming activities will be held such as: Sports Festival hosted by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; exhibition organized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union; art program deployed by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union... creating an exciting atmosphere of solidarity among organizations.

Affirming that this is an important political event, Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc requested press agencies to focus on promoting the Party's orientation, key tasks and strategic breakthroughs in the 2025-2030 term, contributing to spreading the spirit of solidarity, consensus and high political determination towards the success of the Congress.
