The online photo contest "Each Ao Dai - A Beautiful Story" was launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union in August 2025. After more than 1 month of implementation, the contest received 1,729 works from women members in 25 provinces and cities across the country, thereby selecting the 15 best works to vote online on the Vietnam Women's Union fanpage. The 7 excellent works with the highest voting scores will be awarded by the organizing committee in October 2025.

The contest is held to honor the graceful beauty and unique cultural values of the Vietnamese ao dai. At the same time, it creates a meaningful playground, inspiring women of all ages, professions, and regions to share beautiful stories associated with the ao dai, thereby affirming the role and image of confident, brave, creative, and integrated Vietnamese women in the new era.
