Dak Lak welcomes more than 1.6 million tourists in 2023

According to the report of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in 2023, the number of tourists welcomed by the province is estimated to reach 1,160,000, reaching 110.48% of the plan, up 16.06% over the same period in 2022.

Of which, domestic visitors are estimated to welcome 1,136,460 arrivals, reaching 109.16% of the plan; international visitors are 30,240 arrivals, reaching 201.60% of the plan. Total revenue from tourism is estimated at 925 billion VND, reaching 108.82% of the plan, up 10.51% over the same period in 2022.

Tourists enjoy music performances on Phan Dinh Giot Street (Buon Ma Thuot City) within the framework of the 8th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival.

In 2023, Dak Lak organized many programs and festivals to promote the image of Dak Lak tourism to domestic and international tourists and communities such as: The 8th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival, Gong Culture Performance Program to serve the people and tourists, off-road racing "Challenge of the Great Forest - Buon Don 2023", "Cultural Festival of Ethnic Groups of Dak Lak Province 2023"...

In addition, during the year, Dak Lak also coordinated to host regional and national sports tournaments, such as: Stage 2 and Stage 3 of the 2023 Binh Duong Television International Cycling Tournament Cup Number 1, the 35th Ho Chi Minh City Television Cup Cycling Race - 2023 "Non song lien mot doi", the 2023 National Boxing Championship for Strong Teams, the National Team Tennis Championship... thereby attracting a large number of tourists to Dak Lak.

Visitors learn about and enjoy coffee at the World Coffee Museum.

Along with that, Dak Lak tourism industry has implemented policies and measures to stimulate tourism, promote activities, link to expand tourist markets; strengthen inspection of compliance with regulations in tourism business activities at tourist areas, destinations, and accommodation establishments; build a friendly and hospitable image of Dak Lak tourism, attracting domestic and foreign tourists.
