Ensuring security and safety at the Tran Temple Opening Festival 2025

Kinhtedothi - On the morning of February 4, comrade Pham Dinh Nghi, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nam Dinh province listened to the leaders of Nam Dinh city report on the preparations for organizing the Tran Temple Opening Festival in Xuan At Ty 2025.

Also attending the conference were comrade Tran Le Doai, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Departments of Transport, Culture - Sports and Tourism, Provincial Police and the Office of the Provincial People's Council - People's Committee.

City delegates included comrade Nguyen Anh Tuan, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council; comrade Nguyen Tien Dung, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee; and comrades Vice Chairmen of the City People's Committee.

As planned, the Tran Temple Spring Seal Opening Festival 2025 will be held from February 8 to 13 (ie from January 11 to 16).

Of which, on January 11 (February 8), the Ngoc Lo palanquin procession is held; on January 12 (February 9), the Water procession and Fish worship are held; on January 14 (February 11), incense offering and seal opening activities take place at Thien Truong Temple. On January 15 (February 12), from 2 a.m., the Seal palanquin return ceremony is performed; from 5 a.m., the Seal distribution is organized for the people and tourists at 3 locations: Giai Vu House, Exhibition House and Trung Hoa Temple. On January 16 (February 13), the rituals of worship, Thuong Nguyen Festival, worshiping the ancestors of the Tran Dynasty, and offering congratulatory documents to the palace are performed.

During the festival days, at the Tran Temple Relic Site, Dong A Square will organize many cultural and artistic activities, folk games, displays and exhibitions to serve tourists such as: Cheo singing, lion and dragon dance, human chess competition, cockfighting, display of ornamental creatures, antiques, OCOP Nam Dinh products, photo exhibition "Thanh Nam - Historical milestones", display of beautiful photos of Nam Dinh Tourism ...

Reporting on the preparations for the Tran Temple Opening Ceremony, a representative of the Nam Dinh City People's Committee said that before the Lunar New Year, the city had stepped up information and propaganda; decorated, celebrated, hung national flags, festival flags, parallel sentences, installed panels and slogans to promote the relic and festival on the roads of the Tran Temple - Thap Pagoda relic site; installed signs at the relic and the festival area; ensured conditions of environmental hygiene, food hygiene and safety, etc.

The Provincial Police also directed the functional departments and Nam Dinh City Police to develop a plan to ensure security, order, and traffic safety during the Opening Ceremony night and the festival days. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism directed the organization of cultural and artistic activities, displays, and exhibitions. The Department of Transport and related units coordinated with the Nam Dinh City People's Committee to develop a plan to implement tasks managed by the department and branches to ensure good service for the Opening Ceremony.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Pham Dinh Nghi, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, praised the city's efforts in proactively developing detailed plans for organizing the Festival. At the same time, he requested the Festival Organizing Committee and the Provincial Police to coordinate and synchronously and effectively deploy plans to ensure security and safety before, during and after the Opening Ceremony.

Implement traffic diversion to avoid traffic congestion and traffic accidents. Proactively arrange vehicles to pick up and welcome delegates and guests attending the Opening Ceremony.

Regarding the Opening Seal Festival, ensure that the ceremonies take place solemnly according to traditional customs; expand festival activities to serve the spiritual and cultural needs of the people and tourists. Strictly control the collection of fees for vehicle parking services, food safety and hygiene, environmental sanitation, fire prevention and fighting; prevent begging and exchanging small change in the festival area.

Create favorable conditions for journalists and reporters of press agencies to work, promote and spread the meaning and cultural beauty of the festival.

Strengthen inspection, examination and strict handling of violations in festival organization activities according to the provisions of law so that the Tran Xuan At Ty Temple Seal Opening Festival 2025 takes place as planned, safely, economically, effectively, in accordance with the cultural traditions of the nation and good customs and practices of the locality.
