Ensuring effective operation of connecting labor supply and demand

Over the years, the Provincial Employment Service Center has had many solutions to connect labor supply and demand between businesses and workers in a timely and effective manner.

At the end of the year, the Provincial Employment Service Center is always crowded with workers looking for job information. Here, workers can quickly find information about job positions by scanning QR codes on recruitment information of businesses that have been digitized by the Center through the labor market database system.

Ms. Le Thi Chuc, 30 years old, Yen Dong commune (Yen Mo) said: Through the Provincial Employment Service Center, I was able to find out recruitment information of companies and businesses with many vacant positions through scanning QR codes, from which I proactively chose a job that suits me.

For employers, in addition to coordinating with the Provincial Employment Service Center to inform about job positions and working conditions for workers on the Center's information channels, businesses and employers regularly participate in direct labor recruitment through job fairs.

Comrade La Thanh Tung, Director of the Provincial Employment Service Center, said: 2023 is a very difficult year for businesses, many businesses even have to cut staff, the number of unemployed workers coming to the Center is increasing. In particular, in the last months of 2023, the number of unemployed people increased dramatically compared to previous months.

To help businesses recruit workers according to their needs and help workers find suitable jobs, the Center has increased the organization of job fairs, focusing on information about the labor market.

The Center continues to promote information and propaganda work widely with the desire to directly provide information on job fairs; bring information on domestic and foreign labor markets to workers; create conditions for workers and employers to have the opportunity to meet, interview directly and sign labor recruitment contracts.

The forms of propaganda are increasingly diverse, such as: Announcements on the Provincial Radio and Television Station, the radio system; distributing leaflets to recruit workers, hanging banners promoting job fairs, announcing domestic and foreign job programs; posting administrative procedure boards under the jurisdiction of the Center using QR codes; organizing online job fairs...

Since the beginning of the year, the Center has organized 40 job fairs, including 11 monthly job fairs; 21 online job fairs; 6 thematic fairs; 2 mobile job fairs in Hoa Lu district and Ninh Binh College of Mechanics.

There have been 1,391 enterprises and vocational schools participating in recruitment at the floor, over 21,000 workers participating in labor market information exploitation activities at the Job Exchange and the Center's website. The effectiveness of the Job Exchange's operations is increasingly affirmed.

Marketing, introduction and labor supply activities are announced on the Website and notices of propaganda for the Japanese technical intern program and the nursing care program in Japan and the Federal Republic of Germany are sent to communes and wards in the whole province. Notifications and instructions on necessary procedures for workers selected by Korean enterprises. Organizing the selection of 965 workers to register for the exam under the EPS program in 2023 for 5 industries: manufacturing, construction, agriculture , fisheries, and shipbuilding. By November 30, 2023, 321 workers were selected by Korean enterprises for orientation study, of which 285 workers were allowed to leave the country under the EPS program.

In addition, the Center has announced the results of the Korean language test for agriculture and fisheries and the plan for testing skills and assessing capacity through the Center's official website. Coordinated with the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of districts and cities to verify information on labor contract compliance in Korea under the EPS program for 383 workers.

The collection, analysis, forecasting and provision of labor market information is one of the important tasks. The Center has organized the collection of information on vacancies, job seekers and overseas employment programs, and posted this data on the website: vieclamninhbinh.gov.vn to be able to share information nationwide. These data contribute significantly to the work of consulting, introducing jobs and organizing other job transactions, supporting employees and employers to connect themselves.

Implementing Sub-project 3 and Project 4 under the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction for the period 2021-2025, the Center has collected information and entered data on the job search needs of 7,000 workers and 1,500 labor recruitment demand forms of 750 enterprises in the province onto the website storing the employment database of the Department of Employment according to regulations. The Center coordinates with departments, offices, and units to propagate and advise on programs under the labor export project for demobilized soldiers returning to their localities.

As of November 30, 2023, the Provincial Employment Service Center has provided consultation to 35,562 people, reaching 142.2%, exceeding the annual plan target (35,562/25,000 people). Through consulting, job referral and trading floor activities, the Center has introduced jobs to 3,107 people, reaching 103.5% of the annual plan target.
