The cast of "Red Rain" and 20,000 audiences sang "What's More Beautiful" to move people

(Dan Tri) - In the art program "80 years of journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness", singers Pham Thu Ha, Nguyen Hung and 20,000 audiences sang "Mother loves child" and "What is more beautiful" causing emotion.

On the evening of September 1, a special art program celebrating 80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness took place at My Dinh Stadium ( Hanoi ).

This is a program directed by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, implemented by the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet in coordination with art units.

Attending the program were comrades: General Secretary To Lam; former General Secretary Nong Duc Manh; President Luong Cuong; former President Nguyen Minh Triet; National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man; Mr. Tran Cam Tu, Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat; leaders, former leaders of the Party, State, Vietnam Fatherland Front, veteran revolutionaries, heroic Vietnamese mothers, heroes of the people's armed forces, leaders of departments, ministries, branches, localities; international guests and about 20,000 spectators.

The program aims to honor the 80-year journey of formation and development of the new Vietnam: From the struggle for independence, defending the Fatherland to the cause of innovation and integration, and at the same time is a tribute to President Ho Chi Minh, heroic martyrs and compatriots and soldiers nationwide who sacrificed for independence, unification, peace and development as well as inspire the desire to contribute, innovate, develop a prosperous and happy country in the new era, especially for the young generation.

In his opening speech, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism - said that over the past 80 years, culture and art have accompanied the nation, creating a source of nourishment for the soul, strength, spirit and will of Vietnam.

The program not only performed musical works, dances, and echoed profound poems, but also expressed deep gratitude to previous generations who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

“History has recorded that 80 years ago, when the heroic song Tien Quan Ca resounded, the country entered the era of independence.

From that sacred sound, the entire Vietnamese people under the leadership of the glorious Communist Party of Vietnam, we have written a great epic with a full range of emotions - heroic and tragic, hardship and glory, aspiration and belief in a bright future," said Minister Nguyen Van Hung.

The program first attracted attention because of its scale and grand stage. Each performance usually included hundreds of dancers accompanying the singers and the symphony orchestra.

The artists participating in the program include many entertainment stars and world-class chamber singers such as: Thanh Lam, Tung Duong, My Tam, Trong Tan, Dang Duong, Den Vau, SOOBIN Hoang Son, Mono, Double2T, Lam Bao Ngoc, Dong Hung, Oplus, Ngu Cung, Dong Thoi Gian...

The program has 3 chapters: The Road to Independence - Unification, Aspiration for the Fatherland, My Fatherland has never been so beautiful, bringing the audience back to the heroic historical moments throughout the 80 years of hardship but glory of our nation through music.

In particular, the Declaration of Independence scene recreates the sacred moment at the historic Ba Dinh Square on September 2, 1945, with the image of President Ho Chi Minh reading the Declaration of Independence giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, moving many people.

Nguyen Hung and the cast of the movie "Red Rain" sang "What's More Beautiful" on stage, causing emotion (Video: VTV).

Leaving an impression on the show was the collaboration between singers Pham Thu Ha and Nguyen Hung with the two songs Mother Loves Child and What's More Beautiful . On stage, the cast of the movie Red Rain also made a surprise appearance.

When the singers performed on stage, many people below stood up and sang along to the familiar tunes of the songs What's more beautiful, Mom loves me . At the end of the scene, the actors hugged each other with tears in their eyes, many audiences were also moved by the artists' scenes.

In addition, the audience also listened to songs such as: Footprints in the Front, The Internationale, Together We Go Red Soldiers, Vietnamese Soldiers, Hanoi People, Lo River, Dien Bien Victory, Liberation of the South, The Country is Full of Joy... with pride in history and the country.

Many viewers were moved when they heard songs that they had not heard for a long time on professional music stages, such as: Em di dau bien vang, Hat ve cay lua hom nay. And of course, songs like Khat vong tuoi tre, Vinh quang dang doi ta, Yeu nu cuoi Viet Nam...

Tung Duong, Thanh Lam, Hoang Bach sang together in the song Love Vietnam's Smile with lots of positive energy. SOOBIN brought youthful energy with the performance of the song Glory Waiting for Us .
