The US Army brought to the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024 a number of modern military equipment, including 3 aircraft, 1 transport vehicle, 1 artillery piece and 1 armored vehicle.

The most prominent display area is the C-130J Super Hercules transport aircraft. This is currently the world's leading modern medium-sized transport aircraft. Besides its main mission of military transport, the C-130 also regularly participates in transporting equipment for domestic and international trips of the US President.

Two A-10 attack aircraft, nicknamed Thunderbolt II, landed at Gia Lam airport at noon on December 15 and were put on display.

The A-10 ground fire support aircraft has become famous in conflicts involving the US Army. The A-10 Thunderbolt II is considered a reliable, powerful aircraft with the ability to carry a large weapons load in combat.

The US Army's M777A2 -155mm super howitzer is equipped with advanced electronic devices such as: GPS global positioning system and especially TAD-PIK automatic fire control modules.

The US Army's Stryker armored fighting vehicle. The 8-wheeled vehicle, a combination of a tank and an armored vehicle, can move flexibly on many terrains, is equipped with a 350 horsepower Caterpillar diesel engine and reaches a maximum speed of 100km/h.

The vehicle is equipped with an automatically controlled heavy machine gun with an advanced electronic aiming system and can carry nine fully equipped soldiers.

The Russian military exhibition space also offers many modern weapons.

Standing out in the Russian military exhibition space is the BMP-3ME infantry fighting vehicle. The combat vehicle stands out with its firepower, considered the strongest in the world of infantry fighting vehicles today.

Another notable weapon is the self-propelled launcher of the Rubezh-ME coastal anti-ship missile complex.

Rubezh-ME is equipped with Kh-35UE anti-ship cruise missiles with a range of up to 260-290km with better resistance to interference and the ability to fly along terrain at extremely low altitudes.

Another notable weapon is the Kornet-UE self-propelled anti-tank missile system mounted on the Typhoon-K field vehicle chassis. According to Russian experts, the system is capable of accurately attacking and automatically attacking targets at a distance of up to 10km. The system is hidden in a closed compartment in the vehicle with a base of 16 missiles. Kornet-UE is capable of penetrating up to 1,200mm of steel armor after explosive reactive armor, helping it to neutralize all types of tanks today.
