Promote emulation movements in policy credit activities

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - Implementing Directive No. 39-CT/TW dated May 21, 2004 of the Politburo on "Continuing to innovate, promote patriotic emulation movements, discover, foster, summarize and replicate advanced models", the Bank for Social Policies - Thanh Hoa Branch (NHCSXH Thanh Hoa) has responded to emulation movements, thanks to which, the unit has built a team of cadres following the motto of being good at one thing, knowing many things, striving to overcome difficulties with a high sense of responsibility, fulfilling assigned tasks well.

For many months now, in line with the widespread and exciting emulation atmosphere, patriotic emulation movements have also been deployed by the Social Policy Bank throughout the industry, aiming to welcome party congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Party Congress; 80 years of the August Revolution and National Day September 2... thereby receiving the active participation of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers throughout the branch with many rich, lively and practical forms.

Ms. Mai Thi Tho, a credit officer at the Transaction Office of the Social Policy Bank of Thuong Xuan, has worked in the industry for nearly 15 years, but every time the agency launches a movement to emulate learning and following Uncle Ho, she still enthusiastically registers as if it were the first time. Ms. Tho said: "Although working on policy credit in mountainous areas, often having to deal with customers who are ethnic minorities, with economic difficulties and limited awareness, receiving the policies of the Party and State requires a process of "slow and steady wins the race". With the motto "Transactions at home, disbursement and debt collection at the commune", we have implemented the motto "eating and living together" with the people to grasp their thoughts and feelings, so it is easy to mobilize them to borrow capital and use capital properly to develop the family economy".

Thanh Hoa Social Policy Bank currently has 432 employees. In the period of 2020-2025, the emulation and reward work at the bank has achieved many positive results. Thereby, contributing to the implementation of political tasks and promoting socio-economic development, ensuring social security in the area. In 5 years, the unit has launched many emulation and reward movements associated with major programs such as: "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style", "Joining hands to build new rural areas", "The whole country joins hands for the poor", "Good at banking, good at housework"... Thanh Hoa Social Policy Bank has built a team of qualified staff, good at one job, knowledgeable in many jobs, striving to overcome difficulties with a high sense of responsibility, and fulfilling assigned tasks well. Emulation and reward work has contributed to helping banking activities develop stably, increasing outstanding loans associated with improving credit quality. As of mid-August 2025, the total source of policy credit reached over 15.8 trillion VND, an increase of more than 62% compared to the beginning of 2020. 5-year loan turnover reached over 21.8 trillion VND with 435,000 poor households and other policy beneficiaries receiving loans.

Every month, quarter and year, Thanh Hoa Social Policy Bank launches practical, flexible and creative emulation movements; the launched content is rich, closely following the assigned professional tasks, associated with the work of building new rural areas and sustainable poverty reduction. In the past 5 years, the branch has had 191 initiatives recognized by the Scientific Research Council; many collectives and individuals have participated in research, learning, creating, and applying new ways of working effectively. Every year, over 90% of cadres and employees achieve the title of advanced workers, 15% of cadres and employees achieve the title of "Basic Emulation Fighter" and other noble emulation titles. Emulation movements are deployed promptly, comprehensively, and the right people, the right jobs, and the right achievements are evaluated and rewarded, creating motivation for cadres and employees in the unit to work enthusiastically, effectively and responsibly; labor productivity is improved.

Deputy Director of Thanh Hoa Social Policy Bank Dao Van Giap said: The results achieved in the patriotic emulation movement of the Social Policy Bank system in recent years have affirmed the attention, leadership, direction and implementation of innovation in emulation and reward work of Party committees, leaders, mass organizations of agencies and affiliated transaction offices. The emulation movement has closely followed the assigned political tasks, been launched widely and deeply in units, with many diverse and rich forms, attracting the participation and active response of a large number of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers, arousing the tradition of patriotic emulation, creative work, overcoming difficulties and challenges, making great contributions to the socio-economic development of the province.

In the coming time, Thanh Hoa Social Policy Bank will continue to closely follow the direction of Vietnam Social Policy Bank and the Provincial People's Committee, proactively launch practical emulation movements, suitable to the actual situation in the unit, strive to excellently complete assigned tasks every year, contributing to economic development, sustainable poverty reduction, and ensuring social security in localities.
