On October 4 and 5 (ie August 13-14 of the lunar calendar), the "Full Moon Festival 2025" became a vibrant cultural highlight with nearly 20 Mid-Autumn lantern models from residential groups participating in the competition. With elaborate investment in both content and form, the models clearly demonstrated the creativity, ingenuity and love for the homeland of the people through themes such as: Saint Giong riding a horse, Golden Horse, Carp, Golden Buffalo or modern images such as soccer ball models, stylized Moon lanterns. Each work is not only the crystallization of imagination and skillful hands, but also conveys pride and aspiration for a renewed Lai Chau , rich in identity in the flow of traditional culture.

As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded a total of 17 prizes. Of which, 2 A prizes went to the Provincial General Hospital with the model of Golden Dragon rising up and Residential Group 11 (Doan Ket Ward) with the model of Crane riding Dragon going with Horse returning successfully. 2 B prizes went to Tan Phong Ward with the model of Buffalo plowing our fields of Residential Group No. 7 and the model of Golden Horse of Residential Group Ban Moi. The Organizing Committee also awarded 10 C prizes and 3 prospective prizes to residential groups with remarkable efforts.
Not only stopping at the model competition, each residential group also combined special performances with low-altitude fireworks displays, creating a bustling and exciting atmosphere, contributing to increasing the appeal of the festival night. In particular, the image of children sitting on model cars, holding star-shaped lanterns and waving the national flag became an emotional highlight, expressing patriotism, pride and deep love for the traditional culture of the nation.

Comrade Nguyen Le Thuy - Vice Chairman of Doan Ket Ward People's Committee presented gifts to poor students who overcame difficulties.
Along with the model competition, there were also attractive cultural and artistic activities. The performances by the children created a lively and joyful atmosphere, brightening up the entire walking street.
On this occasion, the Organizing Committee presented 28 gifts to poor students who have overcome difficulties, showing deep concern for the care and protection of children, especially children in difficult circumstances. The gifts are small but contain great affection, a practical source of encouragement for the children to continue to excel in their studies and life.
“Full Moon Festival 2025” is not only a playground for children but also an opportunity for the community to become more connected, spread the spirit of solidarity and preserve traditional cultural identity. With innovations in scale, form and quality, the program promises to continue to be expanded and become a cultural highlight of the locality in the coming years.
