Soulmate music night with musician 'Quy Nhon full of memories'

On the evening of September 29 at Tocepo Lagoo stage, Quy Nhon Ward, Gia Lai (formerly Thi Nai Ward, Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh) will take place a special program - a soulmate music night for musician Ngo Tin: "Mai ta ve".

Mai Ta Ve is also the name of a famous song by musician Ngo Tin, with a poignant melody: "Mai ta ve qua con pho xua. Waiting for the sun to rise high, nurturing the color of memories. A time of dreamy moonlit days of old. A sky of longing, when will it ever cease...".

In each lyric, listeners recognize the feelings of a child far away from home, still yearning for his homeland, for the coastal town of his childhood full of memories.

Growing up in Quy Nhon - Binh Dinh (now living in the US), musician Ngo Tin has used his nostalgia for his homeland as a source of inspiration for his compositions. From Quy Nhon, full of nostalgia, Quy Nhon's pale afternoon sun, The empty sea in our hearts, to Covering each other's lives, You by now have blue eyes ... all of them are reminiscent of the coastal city and the sincere emotions of youth. To date, he has had over 200 songs, many of which are performed by leading singers such as Tuan Ngoc, Vu Khanh, Y Lan, Le Thu, Thanh Lan, Carol Kim, Nhat Ha, Dam Vinh Hung, Lan Nha...

A few years ago, when he unfortunately suffered from a serious illness, music and love for his homeland became the driving force for musician Ngo Tin to overcome. In September 2025, he returned to Quy Nhon in the warm embrace of friends and music lovers. It was this feeling that motivated his close friends and soul mates to organize a meaningful music night.

The program gathered singers from Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang, Dak Lak , Quy Nhon..., bringing about 20 typical songs of musician Ngo Tin. According to Mr. Tran Van Quang, this is not only an opportunity for friends from the hometown to send their feelings to the musician, but also an opportunity to further spread the profound compositions, rich in love for the homeland of the author of the famous song Quy Nhon full of nostalgia .
