On the evening of December 24, tens of thousands of Hanoians poured into the streets around the Cathedral (Nha Chung Street), Hoan Kiem walking street... to have fun and await the sacred moment of Christmas 2024.

Recorded from 7:30 p.m., the areas around Hoan Kiem Lake experienced traffic jams, with motorbikes and cars jostling to move.

Traffic jams, many people accept to park their cars far from the center to walk to the Cathedral.

Hang Trong Street towards the Great Church is crowded with traffic.

Motorbikes, cars, and pedestrians jostle each other, causing traffic chaos.

People jostle to get through traffic jams. "I've been driving for more than 30 minutes and still can't get out of the traffic jam," said Le Hieu (Ba Dinh district).

In the Hang Ma street area, from around 8pm, many people flocked to choose Christmas items or find "virtual living" corners on Christmas day.
