Last night, two fires occurred in Hanoi, four people in one family died.

A couple and their two young children died when their corrugated iron house in Thuong Tin commune, Hanoi, caught fire in the early morning of September 16.

A baby is carried out of the fire on Nguyen Viet Xuan Street, Ha Dong Ward.

At around 4:30 a.m., a fire broke out in a one-story house in Van Giap village, Thuong Tin commune, where a couple and their two children were inside. The house was temporary and surrounded by corrugated iron, so the four people could not escape.

Authorities dispatched two fire trucks and several firefighters to the scene. The fire was extinguished by 5am.

The house is currently blocked off for investigation.

At around 10:15 p.m. on September 15, a fire broke out on the first floor of a 4-story townhouse with an area of ​​about 40 square meters on Nguyen Viet Xuan Street, Ha Dong Ward.

By 10:25 p.m., firefighters had contained the fire, promptly rescued the homeowner and her three children, and handed them over to medical personnel to be taken to Ha Dong General Hospital for emergency treatment. Currently, the health of all three victims is stable.

After the fire, the house was covered in black smoke, many belongings were burned, the cause is being clarified.
