According to the announcement, the benchmark scores for 9 specialized subjects to enter Lam Son High School for the Gifted are: specialized math is 45.34; chemistry 44.1; physics 41.95; information technology 46.75; literature 47.4; history 47.95; geography 45.45; English 46.15. Notably, the benchmark score for entering the highest specialized subject is biology with 49.4 points.

In the 10th grade entrance exam for Lam Son High School for the Gifted in the 2025-2026 school year, each candidate will take 4 subjects, including: math, literature, English (scoring coefficient 1) and 1 specialized subject (scoring coefficient 3); all exams are scored on a 10-point scale.

The exam is in essay format, with an additional listening test for English; the IT exam is in the form of computer programming.

In the non-specialized high schools this year, the highest admission score for the first choice is Ham Rong High School (Thanh Hoa City) with 25.15 points.
