Ho Chi Minh City recruits additional public grade 10 students in 2025

On the afternoon of July 28, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City announced the additional enrollment quota for public grade 10 in 2025 at 37 public schools in need (region 1 of old Ho Chi Minh City).

37 public schools in Ho Chi Minh City are recruiting additional 10th grade students in 2025, including Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School with the highest 10th grade benchmark score in the city.

High schools with regular wishes: Students who do not pass any of their wishes to public high schools and must have a total entrance exam score of 3 subjects: Math, Literature, Foreign Language and priority and incentive points (if any) greater than or equal to the standard score of the first wish of the public high school they want to apply for.

Each student is only allowed to register for additional enrollment at 1 public high school that has not yet met its assigned enrollment quota and is not allowed to change schools after submitting the additional enrollment registration application.

Japanese Class : Students who register for the Japanese language exam and achieve a score of 5 or higher and have not been admitted to high schools with Japanese language programs.

Integrated English program (according to Project 5695): Students who have passed other types of admission to high schools that teach integrated English programs (according to Project 5695) and wish to switch to studying integrated English programs (according to Project 5695).

Timeline for additional recruitment:

- From July 30 to 5:00 p.m. August 4: High schools will receive applications for additional enrollment.

-From August 5-6: High schools conduct enrollment on exam management software.

-August 7: High schools report admission results to the Department of Education and Training.

- August 8: Announcement of additional list of successful candidates.

-From August 8 to 4:00 p.m. on August 11: High schools organize to receive additional admitted candidates.

-August 13: Schools send additional lists of admitted students to the quality management department.

Note: Do not accept students who exceed the enrollment quota. Cases that exceed the enrollment quota will not be resolved; do not accept additional candidates after 4:00 p.m. on August 11; candidates participating in the enrollment must have their names on the exam management system of the Department of Education and Training. The Admissions Council is responsible for the additional enrollment conditions and ensuring valid documents.
