On the afternoon of August 20, the People's Police Academy officially announced the admission benchmark based on the method of considering high school graduation exam scores combined with the assessment test scores of the Ministry of Public Security.

The benchmark score for male candidates ranges from 20.67 to 21.52, the highest being in region 1 with exam code CA2. For female candidates, the benchmark score ranges from 18.02 to 24.65, the highest being in region 3 with exam code CA2.

The admission score is the total score of 3 subjects in the admission combination to the People's Police Academy (accounting for 40%) and the exam score of the Ministry of Public Security converted to a 30-point scale (accounting for 60%) rounded to 2 decimal places plus regional priority points, subject priority points according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training , and bonus points according to the regulations of the Ministry of Public Security.

In 2024, the People's Police Academy plans to recruit 530 full-time university graduates from Thua Thien Hue and above, equivalent to last year.

Region 1 recruits 210 students (189 males and 21 females), region 2 recruits 200 students (180 males and 20 females), region 3 recruits 100 students (90 males and 10 females), region 8 recruits 20 students (18 males and 2 females).

Last year, the admission score based on the combination of high school graduation exam scores and capacity assessment of the People's Police Academy ranged from 16.15 to 24.78, the highest admission score for female candidates in admission region 3.

Admission areas are divided as follows:

+ Region 1 includes: Northern mountainous provinces: Ha Giang, Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Tuyen Quang, Lang Son, Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Son La.

+ Region 2 includes: provinces and cities in the Northern Delta and midlands: Hanoi, Hai Phong, Hai Duong, Hung Yen, Hoa Binh, Phu Tho, Thai Nguyen, Bac Giang, Vinh Phuc, Bac Ninh, Thai Binh, Nam Dinh, Ha Nam, Ninh Binh, Quang Ninh.

+ Region 3 includes: North Central provinces: Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue.

+ Region 8 includes: units under the Ministry: A09, C01, C10, C11, K01, K02.

+ Grade 11 students: based on the preliminary selection locality at the time of admission to Grade 11, admission will be considered according to the locality.
