The Ministry of Education and Training has just issued a decision on determining the threshold to ensure input quality (floor score) from the 2023 high school graduation exam scores to enroll students in health majors with university-level practice certificates, majors in university-level teacher training majors and college-level preschool education majors.
This year's medical entrance exam score increased by 0.5 points compared to previous years.
Specifically, the minimum entrance score from the 2023 high school graduation exam scores for admission to the health sector with university-level practice certificates in 2023 for candidates in region 3 has the minimum score (without coefficient) of all admission combinations including 3 exams/subjects as below.
Medicine, dentistry is 22.5 points (0.5 points higher than recent years - PV); traditional medicine, pharmacy is 21 points; midwifery, dental prosthetics, medical testing, medical imaging, nursing, preventive medicine, rehabilitation is 19 points.
The minimum entrance score from the high school graduation exam score for admission to majors in the university-level teacher training group and college-level preschool education for candidates in region 3 has the minimum score (without coefficient) of all combinations of 3 exams/subjects as below.
The minimum score for the majors in the group of university-level teacher training majors is 19 points (equivalent to recent years - PV). For the majors of physical education, sports training, music pedagogy, and fine arts pedagogy, the minimum score is 18 points for the combination of 3 cultural subjects, other combination of admissions are implemented according to current admission regulations.
The minimum score for admission to the college-level preschool education program is 17 points for the combination of 3 cultural subjects. Other combination of admissions are implemented according to current admission regulations.
