The University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Ho Chi Minh City National University) has just announced the threshold to ensure input quality (floor score) for admission methods with reduced scores in many majors.

The minimum score for considering high school exam scores is from 18 - 20 points, and the capacity assessment is 620 - 700 points.

The school announced the minimum score for admission methods based on the results of the 2025 National University of Ho Chi Minh City's capacity assessment exam (method 2), admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam (method 3) and other methods using high school study results.

In which, method 2 has a floor score with 2 levels: 620 and 700 points (depending on the industry).

The floor score for method 3 and other methods using high school learning results ranges from 18 to 20 points.

The majors with the highest floor scores in all of the above methods include: English language, English language - international standard, international relations, international relations - international standard, psychology, Japanese studies, Japanese studies - international standard, Korean studies, journalism, journalism - international standard, multimedia communication, tourism and travel services management, tourism and travel services management - international standard.

Thus, the school's minimum score for the 2025 high school graduation exam is lower than last year's 18.5 to 21 points.

The score applies to all admission combinations (without coefficients), including regional and subject priority points (if any).
