The Hai Phong Department of Education and Training requires schools to monitor and update weather forecasts from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the Northeast Hydro-Meteorological Station, radio and television channels and the Hai Phong City Electronic Information Portal.

Depending on the specific situation, school leaders can decide to let students stay home from school, adjust the schedule and teaching methods to ensure the safety of students and teachers. The notice must be sent to parents, teachers and students before 9:00 p.m. on October 5.

The eye of the storm is currently about 375km East Southeast of Mong Cai ( Quang Ninh ). It is forecasted that in the next 3 hours, storm No. 11 Matmo will move in the West Northwest direction, at a speed of about 20-25km/h. From 7pm today, the storm will affect the Northeastern provinces.

At around 7am on October 6, storm No. 11 Matmo in the border area of ​​Quang Ninh (Vietnam) - Guangxi (China), moved in the West Northwest direction, about 20km per hour, intensity reduced to level 9, gusting to level 12.
