Da Nang city leaders receive Chinese railway enterprises

DNO - On the afternoon of October 22, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Quang Nam chaired a reception and worked with China Railway No. 4 Survey and Design Institute Group Limited Company led by Mr. Quang Chan Hung, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors, who visited and worked in Da Nang.

Introducing at the working session, the leader of China Railway No. 4 Survey and Design Institute Group Limited said that the unit was established in 1953 and is a leading enterprise of China Railway Construction Corporation (CRCC).

The company is a center of enterprise technology and a state-authorized unit to evaluate and advise on investment in the railway and urban railway sectors.

At the reception, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Quang Nam said that Da Nang plans an urban railway system until 2030.

The city plans to deploy the MRT 2 urban railway line (from the Tran Thanh Tong - Ngo Quyen intersection on the elevated route, along the planned route to Thanh Ha pottery village, about 24.5km long) and LRT 2 line (from Da Nang International Airport and connecting MRT 2 at the Ngo Quyen - Ho Xuan Huong intersection with a total length of 7.1km).

Da Nang will organize a specialized workshop on urban railway project implementation to find the most optimal implementation plan.

The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee invited representatives of China Railway No. 4 Survey and Design Institute Group Limited to send experts to participate in the workshop.

At the same time, he expressed his hope that, with his experience and capacity, the company would provide advice on solutions and core technologies, especially considering supporting the transfer of technology related to the railway industry to Da Nang so that when implementing projects, it would bring optimal efficiency.

Mr. Quang Chan Hung, Chairman of the Board of Directors of China Railway No. 4 Survey and Design Institute Group Limited Company, thanked the thoughtful reception of the leaders of Da Nang city and said that the unit will send good experts to participate in the specialized conference organized by Da Nang and have useful comments to contribute to the upcoming conference.
