Intellectual Forum “Khanh Hoa with the trend of knowledge-based economic development - opportunities and challenges”

On October 3, in Nha Trang ward, the Union of Science and Technology Associations of Khanh Hoa province coordinated with Khanh Hoa University to organize the first intellectual forum in 2025 with the theme "Khanh Hoa with the trend of developing a knowledge-based economy - opportunities and challenges".

The forum received 11 reports, focusing on the following contents: Current situation and solutions to promote the development of knowledge economy in higher education in the new period in the province; policies to support and develop high-quality human resources and promote innovative startups, technology transfer from research to application, contributing to creating breakthrough products and services; achievements in knowledge economy development of the Department of Health, opportunities and challenges when implementing high-quality healthcare development, taking on regional roles and moving towards a smart healthcare system. Delegates also exchanged and discussed the development of knowledge economy in research institutes located in the province to promote socio-economic development in the new period; promoting the specific advantages of regions to build a knowledge economy from the pillars of marine economy and clean energy...

The forum is an opportunity to exchange, identify opportunities, challenges, analyze, clarify the concept of knowledge economy, analyze the current state of knowledge economy development in Vietnam in general and Khanh Hoa province in particular. On that basis, point out achievements, limitations, propose appropriate tasks and solutions to bring Khanh Hoa to sustainable development in the era of knowledge economy.
