Through the fire prevention and fighting safety inspection, the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police Department, the Provincial Police issued a decision to temporarily suspend and suspend the operations of 38 enterprises and production and business units to overcome existing problems and violations in the field of fire prevention and fighting.
Authorities inspect fire safety at petroleum businesses
Of which, one facility was temporarily suspended, Tan Tien Construction Company Limited, headquartered in Thanh Son Town, Thanh Son District; 37 facilities were suspended from operation, including many forest product processing enterprises headquartered in Ha Hoa, Thanh Son, Thanh Ba districts; karaoke and entertainment service business units in Viet Tri City; functional buildings of Viet Duc General Hospital, Doan Hung District Medical Center; a number of foreign enterprises headquartered in Lam Thao, Thanh Thuy, Cam Khe districts... In addition, 26 other facilities requested to voluntarily stop operations to correct violations in the field of fire prevention and fighting.
The reason why businesses and establishments were suspended or temporarily suspended from operation was due to violations of Point c, Clause 1, Article 17, Decree 136/2020/ND-CP of the Government (amended by Decree 50/2024/ND-CP): "Putting works, construction items, and motor vehicles with special requirements on ensuring fire safety as prescribed in Appendix V of Decree 136/2020/ND-CP (replaced by Appendix V of Decree 50/2024/ND-CP for establishments subject to fire safety design review) into operation or use without a certificate of review or design review document on fire safety or a document approving fire safety acceptance results.
The above list of temporarily suspended establishments will be publicly announced so that the police of districts, cities and towns can coordinate with local authorities and commune-level police to monitor and prevent the situation of establishments operating illegally without ensuring fire prevention and fighting requirements and conditions.
