Delegation of Thai Nguyen province commemorates heroic martyrs at Dong Loc T-junction

Continuing the working program on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on the afternoon of July 16, the delegation of Thai Nguyen province came to offer flowers and incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the special national historical site of Dong Loc T-junction, Dong Loc commune, Ha Tinh province.

At the relic site, the delegation offered incense at the memorial stele of the National Youth Volunteers and the heroic martyrs who fell at Dong Loc T-junction. The delegation respectfully commemorated 10 female Youth Volunteers of Squad 4, Company 2, Youth Volunteers Group 55, Ha Tinh province - who heroically sacrificed their lives on July 24, 1968, while on duty to fill bomb craters and repair roads after a fierce bombing by enemy aircraft.

To commemorate the great contributions of the heroic martyrs, especially the 10 female Youth Volunteers, the State has built the Dong Loc T-junction National Special Relic Complex, with many items such as: Traditional Exhibition House, Monument of 10 female Youth Volunteers, Victory Monument, National Youth Volunteer Martyrs Memorial House... This place has become a sacred destination, attracting tens of thousands of people and tourists to pay their gratitude every July.

Delegation of Thai Nguyen province visited the graves of 10 female Youth Volunteers of Squad 4, Company 2, Youth Volunteer Team 55, Ha Tinh province.

Before that, the delegation offered incense and visited the tomb of General Vo Nguyen Giap at Vung Chua - Yen Island, Phu Trach commune, Quang Tri province.
