Businesses recover, budget revenue in Ninh Binh increases

In 2024, the Ninh Binh Tax Department was assigned a budget of 14,163.5 billion VND by the Ministry of Finance ; of which domestic revenue excluding land use fees is 11,313.5 billion VND, land use fees is 2,850 billion VND.

Ninh Binh Provincial People's Council assigned a domestic revenue estimate of 15,013.5 billion VND; of which domestic revenue excluding land use fees is 11,313.5 billion VND, land use fees is 3,700 billion VND, an additional 850 billion VND compared to the ordinance estimate.

With the synchronous and effective implementation of management solutions, the total state budget revenue in the first 6 months of 2024 managed by Ninh Binh Tax Department reached 6,304.2 billion VND, reaching 44.5% of the ordinance estimate, reaching 42% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council and equal to 104.9% compared to the same period in 2023.

Evaluating the revenue collection results by revenue item and tax in the first 6 months of 2024, Mr. Dinh Nam Thang - Director of the Ninh Binh Provincial Tax Department said that 10/15 revenue items achieved progress of 50% or more compared to the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council. However, there are still 5/15 revenue items that did not achieve progress of 50% compared to the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council.

"The implementation of budget collection tasks in Ninh Binh province has many positive signs, with 12/15 revenue items and taxes increasing compared to the same period in 2023," said Mr. Thang.

Ninh Binh Provincial Tax Department has also promptly supported and resolved difficulties and problems, creating favorable conditions to help taxpayers develop production and business.

According to the assessment of the Director of the Ninh Binh Provincial Tax Department, Dinh Nam Thang, besides the achieved results, tax management in Ninh Binh province still has some difficulties and limitations.

Due to the economic situation of the whole country in general and in Ninh Binh province in particular, continuing to face many difficulties and challenges due to rising prices and financial difficulties, leading to stagnant production and business of some enterprises, limited financial resources, loss-making business results..., leading to low revenue and profit, affecting the number of employees.

In addition, the management of a large number of taxpayers, complex management areas, and uneven compliance with the law among taxpayers.

In the coming time, Ninh Binh Provincial Tax Department will focus all resources, resolutely and synchronously deploy all solutions to manage tax collection, recover tax debts, prevent budget losses, and strive to complete the State budget revenue estimate for 2024 assigned by the Ministry of Finance at the highest level.

Continue to resolutely and effectively implement tax management, strengthen propaganda and support for taxpayers, promptly remove difficulties for enterprises, create favorable conditions for enterprises to develop production and business, especially enterprises that account for a large proportion of revenue in the State budget balance and the trade and service sectors, creating a new breakthrough driving force for economic growth, creating a sustainable source of revenue for the State budget.

"Ninh Binh Tax Department aims to strive for the total tax debt by December 31, 2024 not to exceed 8% of the total State budget revenue in 2024. The tax and fee debt ratio does not exceed 5% of the total State budget revenue in 2024. Collect at least 80% of the tax debt that can be collected by December 31, 2023. Completely resolve tax debt pending adjustment and processing by December 31, 2023" - Mr. Thang said.
