In the 2024 summary report and 2025 mission orientation, the Ministry of Construction said that regarding the production and business situation of companies under the Ministry of Construction, the total estimated production and business value reached more than 54,500 billion VND, equal to more than 95% of this year's plan. Revenue is estimated at over 52,200 billion VND, equal to 98% of the year's plan. Estimated profit is 652 billion VND, far exceeding the set plan (loss of 4.43 billion VND).

Viglacera Corporation leads with an estimated profit of 1,500 billion VND, of which the parent company Viglacera contributes 1,400 billion VND. HUD Corporation has an estimated profit of 386 billion VND, of which the parent company alone reaches 312 billion VND.
Hancorp Corporation earned a profit of 84 billion VND, with the parent company contributing 68 billion VND. Lilama Corporation earned a profit of 70 billion VND, of which the parent company contributed 90 billion VND. Coma Corporation earned more than 14 billion VND, with the parent company achieving nearly 17 billion VND.
The common point of the above businesses is that they all recorded profits far exceeding the annual plan.
On the other hand, Vietnam Cement Corporation (Vicem) recorded a loss of up to VND 1,402 billion. Although the loss was reduced by VND 177.5 billion compared to the original plan, this is still the second consecutive year that Vicem has fallen into a loss situation (in 2023, it lost more than VND 1,100 billion). The parent company Vicem lost nearly VND 237 billion in 2024.
The real estate market has responded positively.
Also according to the report of the Ministry of Construction, the real estate market has responded positively since the beginning of the year.
The transaction volume of apartments, individual houses and land plots tends to increase, each quarter is higher than the previous quarter and higher than the same period. At the same time, the real estate supply after a period of limitation is showing signs of changing in a positive direction.
Bank interest rates have been adjusted down, investors have introduced many policies that benefit home buyers, and have increased customer confidence and liquidity in the market.

However, the market still experiences local price fluctuations in some segments and some areas. In addition, there is still a fear of making mistakes, shifting responsibility, and avoiding slow resolution in some localities.
The Ministry of Construction believes that in the coming time, localities need to continue focusing on resolving difficulties and problems to promote the real estate market to develop safely, healthily and sustainably.
By the end of the third quarter, 50 commercial housing projects had been completed with 13,700 units, equal to 86% compared to the same period in 2023; 76 newly licensed projects (38,700 units), equal to nearly 109% compared to the same period; 192 projects eligible to sell future housing projects with more than 59,000 units, equal to 102% of the same period in 2023.
Regarding infrastructure investment projects to transfer residential land use rights, the Ministry of Construction said that 59 projects with about 5,500 lots/plots have been completed, equal to 63% compared to 2023; 71 newly licensed projects, equal to 83% compared to the same period.
Real estate transaction prices have increased in recent times compared to the financial capacity of the majority of people, especially in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Apartment prices in Hanoi continue to increase for both old and new projects. The price level of new projects has increased by 6% quarterly and 25% annually, some areas have increased locally by about 35-40%, depending on the location compared to the second quarter.
Total transactions of apartments and individual houses were about 137,400 units, equal to 102% compared to the same period; total transactions of land were about 446,900 lots, equal to 138% compared to the same period.
