Welcoming more than 13,800 tourists on the first day of the new year 2025

On the first day of the new year 2025, tourist areas and spots in the province welcomed about 13,800 visitors, of which the number of overnight guests reached an estimated 4,200. The average room occupancy rate at accommodation establishments reached about 53%. Total revenue from tourism activities in the province is estimated at 13.9 billion VND.

Tourists mainly concentrate on prominent destinations of Phu Tho such as: Thanh Thuy hot mineral water resort, Hung Temple historical site, Viet Tri city center, Au Co Temple, Xuan Son National Park, Long Coc tea hill and other historical and cultural sites. Many tourists choose pilgrimage and spiritual tours to pray for a peaceful and lucky new year.

The accommodation and tourism services business during the New Year holiday was recorded as stable, ensuring security and safety for tourists. Service businesses have made efforts to meet the needs of customers, from the quality of accommodation to additional services.

Tourists participate in community cultural experience activities at Xuan Son National Park

The provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said this is a positive signal for the local tourism industry in the new year, while promoting and developing typical tourism products to attract more tourists, contributing to the socio -economic development of the province.
