Concentrating on rescuing victims of serious traffic accident in Tuyen Quang

According to the report of the Health Department of Tuyen Quang province, after the accident occurred, Tuyen Quang General Hospital received 10 victims, of which 5 died outside the hospital. Of the 5 injured, 1 case was slightly injured and was discharged from the hospital, while the remaining 4 patients had 1 case of multiple injuries, with a serious prognosis.

On March 5, regarding the serious traffic accident at km 151 of National Highway 2 (through Tu Quan commune, Yen Son district, Tuyen Quang) in the early morning of the same day that caused many casualties, the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management, Ministry of Health requested the Department of Health of Tuyen Quang province and the Director of Viet Duc Hospital to focus on emergency and treatment for the victims of this serious traffic accident.

Accordingly, the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management requested the Director of the Department of Health of Tuyen Quang province and the Director of Viet Duc Hospital to concentrate the maximum number of doctors, medicines, and medical equipment to promptly treat serious cases, minimize deaths, and minimize damage caused by the accident. At the same time, promptly treat and cure the victims and propose opinions and recommendations to the Ministry of Health to ensure the best traffic accident emergency; coordinate professionally with higher-level medical examination and treatment facilities or promptly transfer patients.

Previously, at 1:36 a.m. on February 5, at km 151 of National Highway 2 (through Tu Quan commune, Yen Son district, Tuyen Quang), container truck with license plate 15C-075.26 collided with passenger bus with license plate 23F-000.58 going in the opposite direction from Ha Giang to Tuyen Quang, killing 5 people on the spot and injuring several others.
