
The subjects include: A Savila (born in 2006), A Than (born in 1991), A Nhan (born in 1999), A Kong (born in 1999), A Bat (born in 1998), A Hau (born in 1993), Mak (born in 2005) and A Nhon (born in 2004; all residing in Kon Hra Chot village, Kon Tum ward, Quang Ngai province).

Earlier, on the morning of September 28, after receiving a report of thieves cutting and stealing underground medium voltage cables, Kon Tum Ward Police deployed forces to investigate. After 5 hours, the police identified and arrested the 8 suspects.
This group confessed to having committed 5 thefts of electric cables in the Dak Bla river embankment area and around the administrative building in Kon Hra Chot village, appropriating hundreds of meters of underground medium voltage cables, causing hundreds of millions of dong in damage. The stolen electric cables were sold as scrap for personal use.

The police agency recommends that agencies, businesses, and units managing electricity assets need to strengthen protection, install monitoring systems, regularly check power lines, and promptly notify when signs of theft are detected to prevent them in time.
