(Chinhphu.vn) - On the afternoon of October 16, the Da Nang City Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo's Decision on personnel work.

Comrade Le Minh Hung, Head of the Central Organizing Committee, attended and presented the decision; also attending were comrades: Hoang Dang Quang, Permanent Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee; Nguyen Van Quang, Permanent Deputy Inspector General of the Government Inspectorate .

At the conference, comrade Hoang Dang Quang, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee, announced the Politburo 's Decision appointing comrade Le Ngoc Quang, Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee, to join the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

The Politburo has decided to transfer and assign comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee, to hold the position of Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee.

Speaking at the Conference, comrade Le Minh Hung, Head of the Central Organizing Committee, believed that with his working experience and capacity, comrade Le Ngoc Quang will excellently complete the tasks assigned by the Politburo.

Comrade Le Minh Hung suggested that in his new position, Comrade Le Ngoc Quang and the Party Committee, government and people of Da Nang City closely follow the direction of the Politburo, focus efforts and determination to well implement the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution of the 1st City Party Congress, soon put the Resolution into practice; build working regulations, arrange cadres after the Congress to ensure democracy, objectivity, create consensus, promote the spirit of solidarity and innovation in the entire Party Committee.

At the same time, focus on strengthening the efficiency of the two-level government apparatus, especially at the grassroots level; review the payroll, rearrange professional staff according to practical requirements, promptly remove obstacles in decentralization and delegation of power. In addition, it is necessary to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the Politburo's new regulations on personnel work.

Comrade Le Minh Hung hopes that comrades in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and leaders at all levels and sectors of Da Nang City will promote the tradition of solidarity, unity, support, companionship and backing of Comrade Le Ngoc Quang to continue to develop Da Nang City even more strongly in the coming time.

In his acceptance speech, the new Secretary of the City Party Committee, Le Ngoc Quang, respectfully thanked the Party and State leaders for their trust in him and entrusted him with the position of Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term; affirming that this is a great honor, as well as a great political responsibility, requiring him to continue to make more efforts and contribute more to respond to the trust of the Central Government and the expectations of the Party Committee, government and people of the city.
