According to the provincial Hydrometeorological Station, from June to November 2025, the East Sea region is likely to see 5-8 storms and tropical depressions, of which 3-6 may directly affect the Vietnamese mainland. Dong Nai is located in an area with a high risk of heavy rain, flash floods, landslides and urban flooding, especially at the end of the rainy season.
In this situation, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee directed the Department of Agriculture and Environment to play a key role, coordinate with departments and localities to closely monitor weather developments, update and deploy plans for natural disaster prevention and search and rescue. Reviewing the safety of dams, dykes, drainage systems and flood discharge procedures is required to be strictly implemented.

In addition to focusing on disaster response, Dong Nai also focuses on the role of technology in monitoring, early warning and post-disaster environmental treatment such as waste, animal carcasses and water pollution.
The Provincial Military Command will establish a Civil Defense Command before September 10, and at the same time develop a plan to mobilize forces and equipment to be ready for rescue in case of emergency.
Departments and branches from health , industry and trade to construction are assigned specific tasks, from ensuring medical safety, power grid to solving the root cause of flooding problems with sustainable solutions such as expanding regulating lakes and developing smart cities.
At the grassroots level, the People's Committees of communes and wards play a "frontline" role, on duty 24/7 during the storm season, ready to guide evacuation, warn of dangerous areas and transparently calculate damage.
Provincial leaders emphasized that it is absolutely not allowed to be subjective, and must act in accordance with the "4 on-site" motto (on-site command, on-site forces, on-site means and on-site logistics) to minimize damage in the context of increasingly complex climate change.
