Dong Nai organizes architectural competition for new Political - Administrative Center

(PLVN) - On June 26, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province announced that it had just issued Plan No. 220/KH-UBND signed by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha, on organizing a Competition to select architectural plans for the Provincial Political - Administrative Center.

The contest aims to concretize the policy of relocating and building new provincial administrative centers, while contributing to gradually perfecting the modern, synchronous, professional administrative-urban infrastructure system, adapting to the requirements of the 4.0 industrial revolution and the digital transformation process, thereby improving management efficiency, serving people and operating socio -economic development.

Perspective of the future Political - Administrative Center of Dong Nai province.

The competition will take place in two rounds, including the preliminary round and the official selection round. The participants are domestic and foreign design consulting organizations with sufficient professional capacity. The results of the competition will be the basis for implementing the next steps in the investment process to build the new administrative center of the province.

Regarding the prize structure, the contest has 3 main prizes: First prize worth 900 million VND; Second prize worth 700 million VND; Third prize worth 500 million VND.

In addition, up to 5 non-winning plans that meet professional requirements will receive financial support of about 500 million VND/plan.

According to the plan, the Dong Nai Province Political - Administrative Center will be built on the foundation of Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park after converting its function, with a total area of ​​over 100 hectares. The project includes three main blocks including the administrative building, conference center and square, and synchronous urban service areas.

The total investment of the whole project is expected to be about 8,600 billion VND.
