The project's feasibility study report was approved by the Provincial People's Committee in Decision No. 11543/QD-UBND dated December 7, 2022 and adjusted in Decision No. 4770/QD-UBND dated April 29, 2025, with a total investment of about VND 1,850.9 billion. The implementation period is from 2024 to 2027, with capital from the provincial budget and other legal mobilization. In 2025 alone, the province allocated more than VND 1,000.9 billion, with disbursement reaching 85%.
DT.830C route has a level II traffic scale. The section from the intersection with Nguyen Huu Tho Street to Nguyen Van Tiep Street, about 0.7km long, will maintain its current scale (12m wide asphalt concrete road surface, 22m roadbed). The section from Nguyen Van Tiep Street to the Ho Chi Minh City border, about 8.3km long, will be upgraded and expanded to urban road standards, with a 20m wide road surface, 30m roadbed, and at the same time, a synchronous and modern technical infrastructure system will be built.
The project consists of 3 construction packages. Package 1 is worth more than 179 billion VND (from the beginning of the route to Thanh Ha culvert); Package 2 is worth more than 161 billion VND (from Thanh Ha culvert to Tan Buu culvert); and Package 3 is worth more than 75 billion VND (from Tan Buu culvert to the end of the route). Long An Construction Investment Project Management Board has approved the documents and organized bidding for all 3 packages.
Site clearance work has made good progress: Compensation and resettlement support plans have been approved for 918 households (nearly 8 hectares of land) with a total cost of 850 billion VND. Up to now, the Ben Luc Regional Land Fund Development Center Branch has paid 833 households (6.91 hectares) with a total amount of 742.28 billion VND.
According to the Project Management Board, there are currently no major difficulties or problems. In the coming time, the unit will focus on speeding up the bidding process, completing procedures to start the project on schedule; at the same time, coordinate with local authorities to continue mobilizing, paying compensation and resettlement for the remaining households.
The project's completion will contribute to improving the transport infrastructure, enhancing the connection between Tay Ninh with Ho Chi Minh City and the provinces of the Southern Key Economic Zone, promoting socio-economic development, serving the travel and freight transport needs of people and businesses./.
