The purple road of Lagerstroemia has an area of about 1,000 square meters and grows all kinds of purple flowers: purple Lagerstroemia, purple chrysanthemum, sim flower, purple evening primrose, and especially has two large, poetic purple lotus ponds.
According to the reporter at Ong De eco-tourism village (Phong Dien district), tourists in brown Ao Ba Ba costumes enjoyed experiencing folk games and thrilling water games. Besides, there were spaces to enjoy folk cakes, local cuisine , singing...
Mr. Le Hai Phuc - Owner of Ong De tourist village said: On the occasion of September 2nd this year, we organized many activities to attract tourists such as: lucky draw, traditional cake and Southern fruit area, Lotto show, "Miss Ong De 2024" catwalk contest, folk games... On the first day of August 31st, Ong De eco-tourism village welcomed about 1,000 visitors to visit and experience.
At Phi Yen Eco-tourism Area (located in Nhon Loc 1 Hamlet, Phong Dien District, Can Tho City), visitors enjoy the experience of walking on the monkey bridge, participating in fishing activities; or learning how to row a boat or row a canoe - typical means of transportation on the river of the people of the river region.
"The advantage of Phi Yen is that the garden grows many kinds of Phong Dien's specialty fruits, such as: oranges, Ha Chau strawberries, jackfruit, mango, longan, mangosteen... The highlight of the garden is that visitors can freely pick fruits and enjoy them on the spot. Coming here, visitors feel like they have returned to their old hometowns, with gardens, rivers, rowing boats and can comfortably enjoy delicious Southern dishes cooked in the traditional way in the garden." - Mr. Ngo Trong Phu, owner of Phi Yen Eco-tourism Area said.
