Hanoi tourism earns over 3,500 billion during Tet holiday

Serving about 1 million visitors, earning more than 3,500 billion VND are the statistics on tourism activities in Hanoi during the 9-day Lunar New Year holiday.

According to statistics, during the 9-day holiday of the Lunar New Year, Hanoi welcomed about 1 million tourists .

The number of international visitors alone reached 142,000, an increase of 15.8% over the same period last year. The top markets sending visitors during the traditional Tet holiday include: China, South Korea, Taiwan, the US, the UK, Malaysia, India, Germany, France, Japan, etc.

Domestic tourists are estimated to welcome nearly 860,000 arrivals (mainly residents of the capital and neighboring provinces).

Many exciting and interesting activities are organized by Hanoi during the holiday, bringing many experiences to visitors.


Some activities imbued with the traditional Tet atmosphere of the Northern countryside include: the program "Vietnamese Village Tet 2025" at Mong Phu Communal House Space, celebrating Tet at the Vietnam Ethnic Culture Village, the program "Spring Colors of At Ty 2025", the program "Vietnamese Tet - Street Tet 2025"...

In addition, in districts, preparations to welcome people and tourists from all over the world to attend major festivals at the beginning of the new year such as Huong Pagoda festival, Giong festival at Soc temple, Co Loa traditional festival, Hai Ba Trung temple festival... are ready.

During the 9-day Lunar New Year holiday, total revenue from tourists to Hanoi is estimated at 3,530 billion VND.
