Specifically, the total number of visitors to Khanh Hoa for sightseeing and relaxation reached 578,219, including 175,218 overnight guests with 45,168 international visitors and 130,050 domestic visitors.
The average room occupancy rate of accommodation establishments is about 70.86%, Bai Dai, Doc Let areas and closed resorts on the islands have a capacity of 70% or more, some resorts have a room occupancy rate of over 90%.
In particular, the central area of Nha Trang city has an average capacity of about 60% or more (mainly focusing on the 3-5 star segment and equivalent), some hotels along Tran Phu beach have a capacity of over 70%.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thanh, the 4-day National Day holiday on September 2nd with beautiful, cool weather creates favorable conditions for people to go sightseeing and travel to close out the summer and create excitement for children to prepare for the new school year.
However, this is not the peak tourist season even though people have 4 days off because many families and companies have traveled during the summer months and the National Day on September 2nd is close to the school start date for students at all levels, so the number of visitors to Khanh Hoa only increased slightly.
“During the National Day holiday on September 2, although Khanh Hoa did not have any major events organized, with a diverse tourism product ecosystem, Khanh Hoa tourism is always ready to welcome the last peak of the summer tourist season such as beach resorts, enjoying night tourism, entertainment at events and activities organized by tourist areas and spots.
Khanh Hoa tourism industry always prepares resources to serve tourists, many tourist attractions and entertainment spots offer many new products and incentive programs, serving the maximum needs of tourists, tourism programs are also renewed and diversified, bringing many experiences to tourists" - Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thanh said.

According to the Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism, before the holiday, the Department increased its staff to arrange 24/7 hotline staff to receive tourists' feedback and arranged staff at the Tourist Support Information Station on Tran Phu Street.
Thereby, the Tourist Support Center hotline received 2 complaints from tourists, including 1 case related to assault and loss of property of tourists on Diep Son Island, 1 case of tourists reporting that Nha Trang beach was covered in oil, affecting beachgoers.
For all the above feedback, the Tourist Support Center has forwarded it to relevant authorities for timely coordination and handling.
