Bringing clean water to remote schools

(DN) - In order to ensure clean water for students and teachers in remote areas at the beginning of the new school year 2025-2026, on September 8, Binh Phuoc Water Supply and Drainage Joint Stock Company, Dong Nai province implemented the social security program "Bringing clean water to schools" at 4 schools in 3 remote, rural communes - where clean water that meets the standards of the Ministry of Health has not been used.

Accordingly, Binh Phuoc Water Supply and Drainage Joint Stock Company has installed free meters and provided free water usage for 1 school year for the following schools: Tan Phuoc Secondary School (Dong Tam Commune), Tan Hung Secondary School, Tan Hung Kindergarten (both Tan Loi Commune) and Le Van Tam Primary School (Binh Tan Commune). The total cost of the program is nearly 78 million VND.

This is a welfare activity at school so that every student can use clean water to ensure their health and contribute to responding to the Government 's National Action Program for Children for the period 2021-2030. At the same time, strive to achieve the rate of 85% of rural people using clean water that meets standards by 2030.
