Accordingly, Thuy An Agricultural Cooperative (investor of Suoi Tien - Thuy Yen Lake eco-tourism project) has notified employees and business households about temporarily suspending business activities at the tourist area on July 25.

Staff and business owners at the tourist area clean up, remove advertising signs, transport equipment, and preserve vehicles. Boat drivers bring their boats to safe anchorages to avoid collisions.

The Cooperative is preparing documents for investment policy issuance to implement the project and procedures related to licensing the operation of Suoi Tien - Thuy Yen Lake eco-tourism area.

According to the People's Committee of Chan May - Lang Co commune, in the coming time, the commune will invite relevant departments, branches and units to a meeting about the recent press reports.

Accordingly, the Suoi Tien - Thuy Yen Lake eco-tourism area was granted a license to operate within the protection area of ​​the Thuy Yen reservoir irrigation works by the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province (now Hue city) to Thuy An Agricultural Cooperative (investor) on October 22, 2018, with a term of operation of 5 years.

However, since the operating license expired on October 22, 2023, the investor has repeatedly allowed the tourist area to operate, collecting ticket fees from tourists and many other taxes and fees.
