In the hustle and bustle of life, many people choose shortcuts to quickly get money in hand. But the attraction of immediate profits is sometimes the beginning of tragedy, and when looking back, all that remains is regret...

With the participation of actors Thanh Hien, Son Hai, Thanh Thuan and Kien Bao, the episode “Borderline” in the series “Don’t let regret” brings to the audience a realistic story that young people have to face today. When weighed down by the pressure of making a living, young people are faced with a crossroads that will decide their future: take a risky shortcut, or bravely stick to the honest path despite the hardships?

The story revolves around Bao, a 22-year-old man who loves to play around and is often scolded by his mother for being lazy. Wanting to prove himself, Bao tries to drive a motorbike taxi, but his income is unstable, and his mother has an accident that makes him bedridden, making his financial situation even more urgent. When he meets Tam, another motorbike taxi driver, who offers him a high-paying "delivery" job, Bao immediately wavers at this super-profitable business deal.

Right on time, Bao's phone kept ringing. He hesitated, knowing that the call meant he had to participate in a shady deal. In the moment of hesitation, his mother's love and earnest advice woke him up, helping Bao sober up enough to let go, deciding not to cross the "boundary" of breaking the law. A few days later, after finding a stable job, Bao heard that Tam was arrested for drug trafficking, this was like a wake-up call, helping Bao appreciate even more his right decision to obey the law.

Although the film is short, it conveys a clear message: in life, everyone has difficult times, easily tempted by dishonest money. But if we stop in time and choose the honest path, we can not only keep our own future but also protect the happiness of our family and loved ones.

“Don’t Regret” airs regularly at 7:35 p.m. every Wednesday on THVL1 and rebroadcasts on THVL’s digital platforms. Each week, the program brings a realistic story, recreating real situations, sending profound messages so that viewers can contemplate how to calmly face situations.
