The Center for Ecotourism and Environmental Education of Bidoup-Nui Ba National Park has just announced that it will temporarily stop welcoming visitors to experience the hiking route to the top of Langbiang due to slippery roads and landslides, making it unsafe for visitors to experience.

The hiking trail conquers the 2,167m high Langbiang peak in the forest area of Bidoup-Nui Ba National Park (Lam Dong province). With thousands of rich species of animals and plants, this is an ideal destination for tourists who love to explore nature.
According to the Center for Ecotourism and Environmental Education, the weather and terrain in this area are currently quite complicated.
Prolonged heavy rains have made the hiking route to the top of Langbiang Mountain dangerous. Landslides have occurred in some locations, along with the risk of trees falling, posing a danger to tourists.
Besides, moving to the top of the mountain during the rainy season can make it easy for tourists to get lost and have difficulty determining direction because it gets dark quickly and there is a lot of fog surrounding it.
Recently, many tourists and spontaneous groups have climbed to the top of Langbiang without registering with professional tourism businesses.
Without a guide, some tourists got lost on Langbiang Mountain. To ensure safety, the authorities had to quickly search and rescue these people at night.
Meanwhile, the Bidoup-Nui Ba National Park rangers have to manage a huge area of forest. There are many paths around the mountain, so it is difficult to keep track of cases of tourists climbing the mountain without permission.
In light of the above situation, Bidoup-Nui Ba National Park has decided to temporarily suspend the hiking route to Langbiang trail. The management unit will review and supplement safety measures for the route to conquer Langbiang mountain before the place welcomes visitors again.
