Fred arrives in Fenerbahce; Coach Ten Hag awaits Sofyan Amrabat, Benjamin Pavard

Before the 2023/24 season started, coach Ten Hag informed Fred that he was no longer in MU's playing plan for next season.

The Brazilian midfielder needs to find a new destination as he only has one year left on his contract. Fulham and Galatasaray have expressed their desire to have Fred's services.

However, Fenerbahce is the latest team to bid for Fred and received a nod from MU, with a fee of 13 million pounds.

This is a rather modest figure compared to the amount of capital the Red Devils spent to recruit the Brazilian star. In 2018, they spent up to 52.4 million Euros to buy Fred from Shakhtar Donetsk.

The midfielder himself quickly reached a personal agreement with Fenerbahce and flew to Turkey to complete medical examination procedures.

Last season, Fred played 56 matches in all competitions for Man Utd. However, he only started 12 matches in the Premier League. With Man Utd recruiting Mason Mount, Fred no longer has a place at the club.

With Fred leaving Old Trafford, new signing Rasmus Hojlund will inherit his favourite number 17 shirt.

The Danish striker arrived at the "Theatre of Dreams" for £72 million. However, he had to wait until September to have the opportunity to debut for his new team due to a back problem.

In addition to Fred and Maguire, the Manchester team is trying to liquidate Donny van de Beek, Brandon Williams, Eric Bailly and young goalkeeper Matej Kovar.

On the other hand, it is likely that in the final days of the summer transfer window, coach Ten hag will bring in two new recruits, Sofyan Amrabat and Benjamin Pavard.

Sofyan Amrabat is valued at 30 million Euros. This player is the hero of the Moroccan team at the 2022 World Cup.
