At the opening ceremony, the marching groups demonstrated their strength, creating a vibrant and colorful atmosphere. Secretary of the Party Committee of Dan Phuong Commune Nguyen Gia Hien performed the traditional fire lighting ceremony, symbolizing the spirit of honest and noble sports; Vice Chairwoman of the Commune People's Committee Nguyen Thi Quynh Lam read the opening speech, affirming that the Congress is an important occasion to spread the movement of physical training and sports widely in the community.


According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Quynh Lam, in recent years, the physical training and sports movement in the commune has developed both in breadth and depth. The whole commune has 43 training locations with outdoor physical training and sports equipment, 1 central stadium, 11 standard gymnasiums, 10 mini soccer fields, 28 volleyball and badminton courts, 4 bickleball courts, 8 basketball courts, 3 swimming pools... and dozens of other playgrounds, meeting the needs of physical training and improving people's health...

From the grassroots sports movement, the commune has had athletes with high achievements, such as: Nguyen Duy Gia Anh with the Gold Medal at the Southeast Asian and Oceania Wrestling Championship, Gold Medal at the National Youth Wrestling Championship; Athlete Nguyen Van Nguyen - who led the commune's martial arts team to win 10 city-level medals, Gold Medal at the Asian Police Taekwondo Open Championship.
